Substitute Classroom Teacher (Part Time Position)
Position Purpose
Under the supervision of the School Principal and onsite team, supervises and monitors students in the absence of their regularly-scheduled teacher.
Essential Functions
- Ensures a safe and orderly environment for instruction.
- Monitors students at all times for attendance, safety, and learning.
- Implements the plans of the designated classroom professional who is absent.
- Works with office staff, administration, and teammates to ensure all daily tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Demonstrates patience, positivity, and a love for students and education.
Additional Duties
Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other office administrators.
Equipment
Uses standard office equipment such as computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, and projector.
Travel Requirements
Travels to school building is required.
Physical and Mental Demands, Work Hazards
Works in standard office and school building environments.
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
