Job Summary :
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The Design Assistant will provide comprehensive support to the design team in all phases of interior design projects, from initial concept development to project completion. Responsibilities :
- Assist designers with the selection and specification of furniture, fabrics, lighting, and other design elements.
- Prepare presentations, mood boards (physical and digital), and material samples for client meetings.
- Maintain organized project files, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
- Manage sample library and maintain inventory of materials.
- Conduct product research, quoting, sourcing materials, and creation of client proposals.
- Assist with the preparation of design drawings and specifications using CAD and other design software.
- Expediting and processing of purchase orders and coordinating with team to ensure timely delivery and installation of materials.
- Attend site visits and assist with project installations.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, answering phones, and managing correspondence.
- Stay current on industry trends and new product developments.
