What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hydromat CNC Machinist - 2nd or 3rd shift position at Lisi Automotive?
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The principal purpose of this job description is to outline the roles and responsibilities of a Hydromat Set-up Operator. Responsible for the setup and operation of Hydromat machines to ensure production of quality parts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES
1. Read and understand part specific blueprints and dimensions.
2. Sets up and operates tools according to instructions, specifications, and standard charts.
3. Recognize quality principles, as applied to products.
4. Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and basic gages.
5. Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
6. Check parts with optical inspection equipment or equivalent measurement.
7. Understand procedures and work instructions.
8. Use appropriate statistical tools.
9. Understand proper operation of machine and able to change Hydromat / CNC tools and offsets.
10. Ability to change Hydromat Machine tooling.
11. Perform comprehensive machine preventive maintenance routines.
12. Use, understand, and execution of LEAP / 5S, HSE standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have experience as a Hydromat / CNC Operator
- Demonstrates a strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of programming codes forCNC Operator
- Self-motivated team-player with positive attitude
- Motivated and willingness to learn
- Team player who works in cooperation with others
- Understanding of machining practices
