What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Coordinator position at Lisinski Law Firm?
The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department in various areas including on and offboarding, maintaining the integrity of HR data, team member relations, benefits, and compliance. This individual coordinates with multiple departments to ensure the appropriate handling of individuals who are transferring internally across all platforms. Additionally, they assist with the management and accuracy of HR data, organizational charts, announcements, or data changes.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm EST
Pay rate: $8-$9/hr
In the event the process is successful, we offer an independent contractor type of contract.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
May be responsible for supporting in the following areas:
· Track all accounts, systems, distributions lists, etc. that are unique to different teams within the organization so new team members have correct access accurately from the beginning
· Support other HR team members to ensure a Red-Carpet experience for all new team members
· Support HR Manager with data tracking and analysis of HR metrics, including turnover, absenteeism, overtime, leave, etc.
· Maintain and update team member records in HRIS and/or Dropbox
· Assists with and/or prepares verifications of employment, as requested by team members
· Manage the team member change process for individuals moving into new roles
· Ensure all employment-related documents are completed accurately and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
Essential Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
· Possesses excellent bilingual (English and Spanish) interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
· World class customer service skills
· Experience analyzing HR data from an HRIS
· Understanding of expectations surrounding HR confidentiality
· Proven ability to meet deadlines and time manage themselves
· Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
Minimum Qualifications
· Bilingual (Spanish-English) C2-C1
· Highschool diploma or equivalent experience required
· Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources preferred
· 2 or more years’ experience in Human Resources or a similar field
