Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our Salesforce development team. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and stability of our Salesforce applications by designing, executing, and automating tests. Working within a fast-paced agile environment, you will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to maintain seamless and error-free releases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Testing & Validation: Develop, execute, and maintain functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance tests for Salesforce solutions.
- Automation: Build and maintain test automation frameworks, focusing on Salesforce-specific tools and integration with Copado and Azure DevOps.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, ensuring quality is embedded throughout the agile process.
- Bug Tracking & Resolution: Identify, log, and track defects using Azure DevOps, collaborating with developers to ensure timely fixes.
- Release Readiness: Conduct end-to-end testing in pre-production environments to ensure smooth deployments via Copado CI/CD pipelines.
- API & Data Testing: Validate API integrations and perform data migration testing to ensure data integrity across Salesforce environments.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and QA documentation to support ongoing development and knowledge sharing.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps in testing processes and contribute to the enhancement of QA best practices.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of QA experience, preferably in a Salesforce development environment.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other modules).
- Experience with Copado for release management and Azure DevOps for tracking.
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Provar, or similar Salesforce-compatible tools.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in fast-paced sprints.
- Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or QA-specific certs) are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Salesforce-specific automation tools (e.g., Provar or Test Automation in Copado).
- Knowledge of Performance Testing and Security Testing for Salesforce.
- Familiarity with Salesforce DX and version control practices.
