I'm looking for an extra set of capable, organized hands around the studio with help tackling projects related to running a small design firm and artists studio that might include :
- Documenting new projects in the works
- Organizing photos and assets after a job
- Adding new content to social media, website, and online portfolio
- Creating mockups and type specimens to showcase new fonts
- Creating design mockups to expand portfolio entries
- Some basic studio duties, errands, supply set up, and clean up
Ideally, 12 hours per week, though can be flexible.
Confident in Adobe Creative Suite is a must. Bonus if you enjoy working with CapCut as well. Someone up on trends in social media is a huge plus. Motivated learner.
I'm looking for someone with the special skill of making a project or job look big, special, and well considered.
I am extremely detail-oriented and efficient - looking for the same in whoever I hire. Ideal for someone interested in one day running their own design studio or who is just getting into freelance.
About Us
Dirty Bandits is a design firm / artist studio in Brooklyn. I am a freelance designer, creative director, and mural painter. My specialty is lettering, and applications range from logos to book covers to hand-painted signs. I like to work with companies who actively contribute to positive social impact when possible. I spend one day a week running a non-profit called You Are Not Alone Murals.
It is a casual, often messy workspace near the canal in Gowanus. The studio is off the Carroll stop on the F / G. There are two other artists / designers who work in the space and my dog.
I am there from 9 : 30 am to 3 : 30 or 4 pm. All work would be done on-site.
