Position Overview:
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with high-end builders, interior designers, and other industry professionals. This role requires a strategic approach to selling custom and prefabricated cabinetry solutions tailored to the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to target high-end builders and interior designers within the designated territory.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through regular communication, site visits, and exceptional customer service.
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate leads through networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Present and demonstrate our custom and prefabricated cabinetry solutions, effectively communicating their value and unique selling points.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure client needs are met with precision and excellence.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions to effectively position Litchfield Custom Cabinetry’s offerings.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably within the interior design, construction, or cabinetry industries.
- Established network of high-end builders, interior designers, or relevant industry professionals is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of custom and prefabricated cabinetry solutions, with the ability to effectively communicate design and technical aspects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the designated territory.
