Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Drivers and Helpers to join our logistics team. In this role, you will assist in the safe and efficient delivery of goods/appliances to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and experience with route driving and warehouse operations. This position is essential in ensuring that our deliveries are executed smoothly and on time.
Responsibilities
- Assist the driver with loading and unloading items from the vehicle, ensuring all goods are handled safely.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Help secure cargo in the vehicle to prevent damage during transit.
- Communicate effectively with the driver and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Perform routine checks on equipment, including box trucks, to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by being courteous and professional.
Experience
- Appliance Delivery & installation (1 Year )
- Previous experience in a delivery or courier role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Experience with heavy lifting and moving items safely is essential.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and route driving will be beneficial for this position.
- A valid driver's license is required; commercial driving experience is a plus.
