Pay: $4k-$6k per month for average earnings in this role.

Schedule: Monday through Friday-Saturdays as needed

Are you an experienced Parts Advisor with a passion for providing excellent customer service and knowledge of Subaru parts? We are looking for a skilled and motivated Parts Advisor to join our team at Michael's Subaru of Bellevue, a Lithia Motors dealership.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Product Knowledge: A strong understanding of Subaru vehicles, their parts, and accessories. This knowledge helps in advising customers accurately on part compatibility and specifications.
• Customer Service Skills: The ability to effectively communicate with customers, understand their needs, and provide friendly, helpful service. Patience and attentiveness are key in this role.
• Attention to Detail: The ability to accurately identify and recommend the right parts based on customer descriptions or vehicle details, minimizing errors.
• Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with automotive terminology, part numbers, and systems. The ability to use parts lookup tools and systems is essential.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage inventory, order parts, and keep track of stock efficiently
• Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication, both in person and over the phone or via email. This includes explaining technical information in a way that is easy for customers to understand.
• Sales Skills: The ability to upsell or suggest additional products and services when appropriate, contributing to sales targets
  
  

Responsibilities

As a Parts Advisor you will be responsible for providing vehicle parts and merchandise to customers while providing exceptional customer service.

• Answer telephone and greet customers & vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain clean and professional appearance of counter, work area, and stockroom.
• Interact with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
• Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer requests.
• Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed.
• Takes inventory, maintain records of goods received and keeps perpetual inventory controls.
• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
• Process core returns, parts warranties and parts returns as necessary.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or in a similar automotive parts role, preferably with Subaru experience
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and components, especially Subaru products
• Strong selling ability to consult with the customer and upsell products
• Previous experience with CDK is preferred
• Ability to navigate technology/computer systems easily
• Understand basic automotive components and systems
• Automotive dealership service experience is a plus
• Any automotive certifications is a plus
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
