Overview
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting both FP&A and Accounting operations. Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, this individual must have strong modeling and analytical skills, as well as excellent time management and communication skills to perform duties and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Help execute the annual budget and periodic forecast cycles; work with cross-functional partners to gather planning inputs and generate business P&L
- Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies between planned and actual financial results, and provide commentary to management and business partners
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide financial insights for decision-making
- Maintain Sales Pricing model, while leading pricing activities of product and engineering services with Sales and Executive teams
- Monitor customer accounts and manage billing: prepare and distribute weekly sales reports, submit customer invoices, follow up with customers as needed to collect payments, and process payments
- Support month end close activities: book AP accruals, Revenue and Cost of Sales; reconcile AP, AR, Revenue, Cogs, Warranty Reserve, Unearned Revenue, and other GL accounts as assigned
- Support with Ad-hoc requests as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
- 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, preferably in a high tech or manufacturing environment
- 1 years of experience in NetSuite, QuickBooks, Hyperion, or other planning and reporting software required
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel
- Basic understanding of GAAP accounting principles
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial information clearly and concisely
Salary - 90-120K Equity - DEO
