High School Science Teacher
Hours:
Full-time position Monday – Friday
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in science or science education
- Secondary Level certification preferred
- Courses in science education preferred
Job Description:
- Teach Physical Science, Biology, and Chemistry classes to 9th-12th grade students
- Use Biblical Worldview to purposefully foster spiritual growth in students
- Create a nurturing classroom climate appropriate to high school students that promotes healthy relationships and spiritual growth
- Utilize an effective classroom management system
- Collaborate with other members of the high school team to create ways to help students gain 21st Century skills
- Be active in high school activities that enhance high school student life
- Fulfill all other duties as a LAMS faculty member including supervisory duties, committee assignments, and school life
