Building Monitor
Required Hours & Shift Availability: Part-Time Building Monitor for weeknight and weekend shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a welcoming presence and excellent customer service to all members and guests.
- Monitor facility activity to ensure safety, security, and compliance with RecCenter policies.
- Perform routine checks of the building, equipment, and amenities to ensure cleanliness and
proper function. - Oversee end-of-day procedures, ensuring the facility is properly closed and secured.
- Respond to member inquiries, concerns, and incidents professionally and efficiently.
- Support front desk operations by assisting with guest check-ins and general facility inquiries.
- Assist in enforcing emergency procedures and responding to incidents appropriately.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the facility and report concerns to management.
- Ensure the facility remains clean and presentable by performing light cleaning tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle situations calmly and professionally.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- “First Aid/CPR/AED” (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
