PacAero/Litron is seeking a highly motivated Senior Quality Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining Quality standards on product throughout the production process. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to high-quality standards, and an understanding that "the Customer is our first priority."
This position is located in Agawam, MA and is Full-time onsite.
Requirements:•To perform visual inspection of product between production processes, ensuring Quality standards are adhered to.
•To perform dimensional inspection of product, using various hand tools and CMM equipment.
•Work with the inspection team to identify areas for continuous improvement and improve inspection flow.
•Maintain and create inspection plans as needed.
•To become familiar with all relevant industry standards related to the manufactured product and utilize these to affectively
determine pass / fail criteria of hermetic packages.
•Review production documents for accuracy and completeness.
•Ensure accurate organization and storage of documents in electronic and physical formats.
•Work with Production and Quality teams to identify common defects and propose strategies to assist with continuous
improvement.
•Process NMR / Rework documentation for all non-conforming product.
•Work with Quality Assurance to address root cause and corrective action.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed to improve production flow.
•Any other duties or tasks assigned by Quality management.
Minimum Qualifications
•8 years MIN experience in a Quality or Production manufacturing role.
•Ability to work and make decisions independently to ensure product flow is optimized
•Proficiency in GD&T
•Prior experience in the visual inspection under microscope of hermetic packages, or comparable fields including:
oElectro-plating
oCNC Machining including burrs
oFeed-thru Integration
•Must be capable of spending extended periods of time inspecting product under a microscope.
•Proficient in document control software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
•Ability to work OT including Weekends as required
