Littelfuse Commercial Vehicle Product Team is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join as Mechanical Design Engineering Intern supporting industry controls / protection products. With us, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects and acquire valuable skills and insights into the Mechanical Design field while working closely with our experienced professionals.
This is a paid 3-month internship to gain hands-on experience in a truly global company. While there is no guarantee of permanent employment at the end of this internship, exceptional performance may be considered for future opportunities within our organization.
In this Internship you will :
- Assigned an individual project mentored by a lead engineer. 40%
- Utilize 3D CAD software to update / create customer outline drawings and 3D models - 30%
- Create / update technical information - 10%
- Assist in creation of samples for product testing - 10%
- Participate in product testing in lab. - 10%
- Other duties as assigned.
