The Littelfuse Corporate Strategy Team is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join as a Market Intelligence Intern. This intern will have the unique and invaluable opportunity to gain exposure to executive-level strategic decision-making for a global, 16,000-associate industrial technology manufacturing company.
At Littelfuse, you will gain hands-on experience, contribute meaningful insights to high-impact projects, and build your strategy and analysis skillsets while kick-starting your career in a truly global company. In This Internship You Will
- Conduct primary and secondary market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges to pinpoint areas for investment, expansion, and improvement within Littelfuse’s portfolio
- Learn to translate market, competitive, and customer insights into actionable recommendations
- Gain strong project management, prioritization, and critical thinking skills, driving multiple workstreams and owning insights in a guided and supportive environment
- Collaborate closely with the Corporate Strategy and M&A teams to evaluate potential market entrances and corporate investment opportunities, helping to define and drive the overall direction of the company
- Internship will culminate in the opportunity to present market research project insights to Littelfuse’s Executive Leadership Team
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program from an accredited institution
- Area of study in Business Administration, Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Management, Strategy, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Psychology, Data Science, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related business- or data-focused areas of study
- Strong English language skills (written and verbal)
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using both qualitative and quantitative information
- Proactive and eager to learn about business strategy, market research, customer insights, and M&A
- Ability to learn and work both independently and with teams
- Ability to learn new technology and systems quickly
- Experience with Microsoft Suite applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and analytics tools such as PowerBI will contribute to candidate success
- Prior internship or work experience in market research, analytics, financial modeling, or management / strategy consulting is not required but will help a candidate stand out
