Executes transactions and materials movements within a manufacturing facility as it pertains to the successful operation of production and supply chain goals.
Moves materials within a manufacturing facility to assist in production of products and revenue goals
- Provides materials management in needed areas to ensure safety, site production goals and business continuity of the manufacturing facility.
- Cycle counting of assigned warehouses as required by Corporate and site policy.
- 6S/Lean assignments to promote continuous improvement
- Other duties as assigned by dept Supervisor
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum: 3 or more years of experience in warehousing within a manufacturing environment
- Cross functional experience in Shipping/Receiving and Chemical distribution a plus
- Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted
- Exposure and ability to operate to a manufacturing ERP system for inventory control
- High attention to detail and high memory retention needed
