Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with children, particularly those with autism and other developmental disabilities. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients to enhance their quality of life through evidence-based interventions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement and monitor behavior intervention strategies based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation related to patient assessments and progress.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavior management techniques and best practices.
- Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and feedback.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant medical terminology and documentation standards.
Requirements
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) is required.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Proficiency in medical records management and documentation practices.
- Familiarity with patient assessment tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health.
