Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in early childhood education. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The Childcare Provider will be responsible for fostering developmental growth through play, structured activities, and individualized attention.
Duties
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, including feeding, diapering, and maintaining hygiene.
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area.
- Administer first aid when necessary and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities to meet their individual requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience in early childhood education or childcare is preferred.
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and child development principles.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or students with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with children and parents alike.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children are essential traits for this role.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
