What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Cook position at Little Adventures Early Learning Center?
Looking for a full time Cook at our Columbus location.
Preparing snack and lunch for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
Assist classroom teachers and management when needed.
Perform daily cleaning tasks.
Duties
- Prepare snacks and lunch according to nutritional guidelines
- Keep a clean and sanitary kitchen space
- Track meal counts and dietary needs of individual children
- Contribute to supply needs and track inventory of weekly grocery supplies
Requirements
Must be able to complete training in DCF food service requirements annually (4 hour training & company paid).
Must be willing to work in classrooms with kids occasionally as needed.
Must be willing to work 6:30am-5:00pm with a half hour unpaid break 4 days per week M-F
Must be able to pass a caregiver background check.
