What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Room Attendant position at Little America Wyoming?
A Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning the guest rooms through out the hotel during and after being occupied by a guest.
- Ensure that the standards of excellence for guestrooms cleanliness are followed.
- Attend all the daily line-up meetings in the housekeeping office.
- Report anomalies in the guestrooms to your supervisor or dispatcher.
- Keep the service areas and closets clean at all times.
- Maintain the maids cart organized at all times.
Specific Daily Guest Room Cleaning Responsibilities
- Make the bed following the steps specified in the training manual.
- Clean the bathroom following the steps specified in the training manual.
- Dust the room and replace all the amenities through out the room.
- Vacuum the room thoroughly.
- Follow all service standards specified in the Housekeeping Standards.
- Report and turn in any Lost and Found items from the guestroom or hallways.
- Anticipate guest’s needs, respond promptly to any requests and acknowledge all guests all the time.
