Teachers/Teacher Assistants, and Weekend workers

Position: Infant Teacher Assistant, Preschool Teacher, evening Teachers, Aides and Weekend Workers

Hours: We're 24 hours, 7 days a week so hours will vary

Rate of Pay: $11.00

Qualifications Requirements:

• Must have High School diploma or GED or CDA or Early Childhood Degree
• Prefer a minimum of 6 months experience working with children
• Flexible and energetic on the job
• Have the ability to juggle multiple duties
• Ability to resolve conflicts between children
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Must pass a criminal background check(Including child maltreatment and FBI check in some cases based on length of residency)

• Inspects and removes damaged materials from the classroom as it is noticed.
• Develops and implements daily lesson plans based on thematic units.
• Follows the written posted classroom schedule
• Provides adequate supervision at all times
• Works as a team player while completing job tasks in a timely manner
• Keeps all class records such as daily sheets, incidents reports, etc.
• Keeps classroom clean and well maintained
• Uses naptime as prep time for upcoming activities and lesson plans.
• Demonstrates positive attitude towards parents, co-workers, and management during all communication
• Warmly greets all visitors
• Keeps the Director and Assistant Director informed at all times about parent or staff concerns
• Is reliable when not supervised
• Employee is flexible with work schedule
• Has good attendance on a regular basis
• Is punctual for all scheduled shifts
• Has a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Uses an appropriate, calm tone with the children at all times
