Assistant Teacher

Overview:

Join our team as a dedicated Toddler Assistant Teacher and make a difference in the lives of our youngest learners. Hours for this position will be 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
• Create a safe and stimulating environment where children can explore, learn, and grow.
• Engage with children through play, storytelling, music, and art to encourage creativity and imagination.
• Assist with daily routines including diapering, meals, classroom cleaning duties, and following the cuuriculum.

Requirements:

• A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to establish positive relationships with children, families, and co-workers.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or certification in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous experience working with toddlers in a childcare or educational setting is desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.50 - $13.00 per hour
