What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daycare Bus Driver position at Little Angels Preschool & Child Care Center?
- Complies with local traffic regulations.
- Reports delays or accidents.
- May inspect bus and check gas, oil, and water before departure
- Pick up and drop off students to and from school
- School bus drivers and daycare bus drivers spend most, if not all, of their working hours in their vehicle, so sitting for long periods of time
- Perform simple vehicle maintenance, such as filling gas tank, cleaning exterior and interior, taking vehicle for oil changes or state inspections, etc.)
- Explain safety procedures to children and any chaperons
- MUST BUILD A RELATIONSHIP WITH THE BUS MONITOR AND CHILDREN
- Transportation training required in-house
- CPR and First-Aid training required in-house training
