About the Role
Little Bear Childcare Center LLC is looking for competent teachers to join our school team. They will be responsible for Actively supervising Mixed aged students ranging from 12 months-36 months. We have a variety of children at different stages of development. Each child has their own level of need. If you cannot tolerate High need children this position is not for you. If you have never worked in a Structured childcare facility this job is also not for you. This position is for a person with Interest in Earlychildhood education looking to gain experience in the field or someone that has prior experience looking for a flexible job.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in early childhood education or an interest in gaining experience in early childhood education. Cpr, Med admin Certification, or willing to get certified within 90 days. Complete all nessesary trainings on colorado pdis or have current trainings for working with toddler aged children. Able to work consistently and able to commit to atleast 6 months of consistent employment. Flexibility available for appointments or days off during the week WITH PRIOR NOTICE!. Able to pass required background Checks and pay out of pocket for them with a reimbursment at 6 months of employment.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Plan lessons and carry out plans with the classroom
- Maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment
- Provide guidance and feedback to parents regarding their children’s progress, as well as provide feedback to the school’s lead teacher regarding the lead teacher’s own needs and teaching style
- Assist with implementing lesson plans and curriculum
- Attend staff meetings and be part of a daily staff meeting.
- Be part of a team that is comprised of teachers, aides, and other staff members working together to provide a great learning environment for our students.
Requirements:
Interest in Early childhood Education or Experience.
Any Certifications in Cpr Med admin or Pdis Trainings.
Able to be actively on call and come in to work when needed or have a set schedule with flexibility.
A love for working with children of all needs and development.
Able to keep calm and function in stressful situation.
Able to learn quickly and ask questions for clarification.
Commit to a minimum of 6 months of employment.
Actively supervise children Which means being at their level having meaningful interactions throughout the day which could be 4-7 hours.
Understand what positive redirection means.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends
- On call
