BCBA: Job Description
BCBAs provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), an evidence-based treatment, to children with autism spectrum disorder and/or other special needs and supervise technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide these services. The BCBA will implement behavior interventions and programs with children with autism spectrum disorder in their home and community settings. Supervision, assessment/program development, and parent training will also be part of this position, as applicable. Little Behavior Consulting, LLC provides one-on-one services to children in their home and community settings.
Looking for full-or part-time availability with a current BCBA credential (provided by the BACB) and at least one year experience in the ABA field. Other training will be provided. Must be available evenings and some weekends. Looking for someone to help support parent training.
Requirements:
Must be energetic and maintain professional behavior/confidentiality.
Must be able to physically move quickly, sit on the floor, and lift up to 45 pounds.
Must have computer and internet access.
Must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
Must pass a criminal background check.
BCBA must have a Master's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field. Must have a current BCBA credential.
Must have an interest in working one-on-one with children with special needs and their families.
Must be willing to take direction, training, and implement feedback as given by the supervisor.
Pay based on experience.
