Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at Little Behavior Consulting in Waco, LLC. The BCBA will play a key role in providing clinical oversight, developing behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments, and overseeing the implementation of ABA therapy programs for individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABA principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for working with individuals with special needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and other assessments to develop comprehensive behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for clients.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to behavior technicians and registered behavior technicians (RBTs) implementing ABA therapy programs.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress through data collection and analysis, and make data-driven decisions to adjust intervention strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the client's care to ensure continuity of services and support.
- Provide training and professional development opportunities for staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge in ABA therapy.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research, best practices, and developments in the field of ABA therapy.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Master's degree or higher in psychology, applied behavior analysis, special education, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a BCBA in the field of ABA therapy, preferably with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles, techniques, and methodologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and report writing.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
