Little Blessings is a Christian Childcare Center that blends traditional preschool themes and adds a Christian component to its curriculum. Our curriculum is provided to each class and follows the CT ELDS standards.

The ideal candidate will have a background of working with toddler aged children in a childcare center. Experience with a Christian curriculum is a plus. The Early Childhood Candidate plays a vital role in fostering the growth and development of young children in educational settings. This position involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning through play, exploration, and structured activities. The candidate will work closely with children, families, and other educators to support each child's individual needs and developmental milestones.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Facilitate engaging activities that promote physical education, cognitive skills, and emotional well-being.
• Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a positive learning environment conducive to child welfare.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Proficient in classroom management techniques to maintain an effective learning atmosphere.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
