Job Summary
We are looking for a Master Teachers to lead our Twos and Threes classroom from 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday. The Master Teacher promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children under their care and works with the school's staff to create an environment of learning and keep parents informed of the progress of their child.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create fun and interactive learning experiences while serving as mentors to fellow teachers.
- Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all center guidelines.
- Communicate directly with parents and prospective parents to achieve success for the child.
- Maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
- Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning.
- Maintain a tidy classroom.
- Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences and etc.
Job Requirements :
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Pass a background check
- Must be fingerprinted
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 40 hours
- Must meet state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply.
- Must be a level 4 or higher on Professional Development Ladder
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans
- Shift : Flexible 8 hour day shift.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through standardized testing and ongoing assessments.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Foster literacy education by integrating reading and writing activities into daily lessons.
- Support childhood development by addressing the diverse needs of students in both academic and social contexts.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and administration to promote child welfare and ensure a supportive educational atmosphere.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in education.
- Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills through innovative teaching methods, particularly in subjects like Math.
Experience
- Previous experience in a teaching role, preferably within a private school or daycare setting.
- Strong background in classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles, particularly for preschool-aged children.
- Knowledge of literacy education practices is highly desirable.
- Experience with standardized testing procedures is a plus.
