Your Mission :
In this role, the Project Portfolio Manager oversees the planning and prioritization of project efforts that utilize information technology solutions, principles, standards, and best practices. Your work involves establishing the strategic portfolio plan, building reporting needed for portfolio health, coordinating the planning and initiation of a portfolio of projects at various levels of completion, monitoring the progress, budgets, and schedules of portfolios, and communicating with portfolio and project stakeholders, management, and other relevant parties. You will work under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
How You’ll Make an Impact :
- Oversees IT project portfolio planning that will include the data requirements, process, systems, and roadmap governance.
- Manages portfolio reporting in Adobe Workfront, ServiceNow, or other data solutions.
- Maintains and communicates overall portfolio approvals and delivery with business and IT leadership teams.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal / external partners and sponsors ensuring key stakeholders are identified and engaged early in the portfolio planning process.
- Works with business and technical owners, functional leaders, and project managers to identify project interrelationships affecting project priority and resource allocation decisions.
- Champions strong IT governance in the project portfolio management framework regarding capacity management and submissions.
- Provide services to business and or IT partners on new initiatives (medium to large of varying complexity) for portfolio submission and analysis.
- Oversees portfolio governance over key content needed for senior leader steering committees, i.e. submission templates, reporting repository, etc.
- Drives a culture of transparency and accountability, enabling information-based decision making in the management of IT investments.
