Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing evidence-based behavioral therapy strategies to enhance their quality of life. This role requires a strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles, as well as the ability to collect and analyze data effectively. The BCaBA will collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to develop and monitor individualized treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify individual needs.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to client progress and program effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education professionals and therapists.
- Provide training and support to families and caregivers regarding behavioral strategies.
- Monitor client behavior in various settings, ensuring consistency in the application of interventions.
- Stay current with developments in the field of behavioral therapy and special education.
Requirements
- Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification is required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with special education practices and working with people with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting are essential.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations using established methodologies.
- A commitment to ethical practices in behavioral therapy.
