Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Occupational Therapist at Little Champs Therapy & Yoga in West Palm Beach , FL. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing patient care, rehabilitation services, and home care therapies. They will work closely with children with special needs to help improve their physical well-being and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate clients' needs and goals through assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address specific challenges
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic care
- Educate clients and their families on treatment options and strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of client progress
- Ability to complete any documentation within a 24 hour period
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Experience working with children with special needs
- Valid Occupational Therapy license
- Master’s degree or PhD in Occupational Therapy
- Experience in a healthcare or therapeutic setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Empathy and a genuine interest in helping others
- Knowledge of current therapies and rehabilitation techniques
Compensation is based of off experience and varies between Employee and Contractor.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Education:
- Master's (Required)
License/Certification:
- Occupational Therapy License (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- West Palm Beach, FL : Relocate before starting work (Required)
