What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Prep position at Little Chef Chinese Take-Out?
Little Chef Chinese Take Out in San Diego, Little Chef Chinese Takeout is looking for one food prep to join our 28 person strong team. We are located on 4910 Newport Ave. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and engaged.
Responsibilities
- Set up and break down workstation
- Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables.
- Label stock and inventory all ingredients.
- Weigh and measure ingredients to be used.
- Marinate chicken, beef, pork, and shrimp.
- Frying, boiling and cooking as instructed.
Qualifications
- Experience working in Kitchen position is preferred, but not required.
- Dedicated to working with a team towards one common goal
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety guideline.
- Must keep the work area clean and sanitize.
