After-School Teacher

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic After-School Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising children ages 5 to 12, assisting with homework, leading arts and crafts activities, and maintaining classroom discipline. The teacher will also ride the bus to pick up children from various schools and ensure their safety.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage children in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Assist students with homework and provide academic support.
• Follow and implement the curriculum for arts and crafts activities.
• Maintain classroom discipline and encourage positive behavior.
• Ensure the safety of children during bus pickups from various schools.
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children preferred.
• Patience, creativity, and strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Must pass a background check and have reliable transportation.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
