Preschool Teacher

As a Preschool Teacher, you'll help little ones grow spiritually, emotionally, physically, socially, and academically in a loving, supportive environment.

You will need to pass a background check, protective service records check, and a drug test.

If additional employment is desired, it may be available at our child care center.

Your job duties will include:

• Teach foundational concepts, such as shapes, colors, letters and sounds
• Show children how to make friends and enjoy school
• Share God's love through words and actions
• Help children develop motor skills and boost confidence
• Guide children in getting along and solving disagreements
• Keep children safe
• Assist with toileting and diaper changing

What we are looking for:

• Experience in a preschool setting (a big plus!)
• Knowledge of child development
• Creativity, patience, flexibility, and lots of love for children
• Great communication and time management skills
• CPR First Aid Certification (preferred)
• Familiar with Creative Curriculum

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Preschool classroom: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Beckley, WV 25801: Relocate before starting work (Required)
