What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver -Infant/Toddler position at Little Disciples Childcare and Learning Center?

As a Infant/Toddler Teacher you'll be responsible for providing a nurturing and safe setting for infants and toddlers. You will develop and implement age-appropriate programs and activities, provide guidance to support the physical, mental, and emotional development of the children, and create a positive learning environment.
You will need to pass a background check, protective service records check, and a drug test. You must attend staff meetings, complete a minimum of 15 hours of approved trainings, and adhere to all state regulations.

Your job duties will include:
* Greets children and parents in a professional and enthusiastic manner each day
* Maintains a happy, sanitary and relaxed atmosphere in the infant/ toddler room by following daily procedures and routines.
* Prepares, executes and discusses infant feeding routines with parents to meet individual needs.
* Plans individual and group activities to stimulate growth in language, social, and motor skills.
* Work closely with coworkers in a team teaching atmosphere and shares pertinent information, suggestions, and ideas on a regular basis.
* Develops maintains a positive and confidential relationship with the parents of every child.
* Maintains documentation of each child's daily activities to include but not limited to diapering, feeding and sleeping habits, and sends reports to parents.
What we are looking for:
* Experience in a daycare setting ( a big plus!)
* Knowledge of child development
* Creativity, patience, flexibility, and lots of love for children
* Great communication and time management skills
* CPR and First Aid Certification (preferred)
* WVIT Certification (preferred)
