Little Dreamers is looking for a qualified Director to join our team! Duties of the Director include ensuring the safe and effective operation of programs along with the director; assisting in hiring, training and supervision of staff; assisting in purchase of supplies, equipment, food, and other materials necessary for operation. The ideal candidate should have experience in childcare management/administration, and enjoy working as part of a team. If you have previous experience in this field, we'd like to meet you!
Responsibilities:
- You effectively manage the day-to-day operations to ensure quality throughout the center
- Assist in hiring, training, and supervision of teachers and other staff
- Assist in operating the center according to state licensing standards
- Assist teachers with the weekly development and execution of the curriculum and program activities
- Assist in purchase of supplies, equipment, food, and other materials necessary for program operations
- Assist in execution marketing plan (both internal and external) necessary to maintain desired enrollment
- Ensure a safe environment for the children in our care
Requirements:
- As a Director you understand what it takes to inspire a team and build a great program
- You are a positive influence and motivate others to be their best
- Minimum requirement of 1 year in early childhood education, management/admin experience preferred
- Must be a team builder, highly organized and possess excellent customer service/communication skills
- Flexible and energetic
- Have the ability to juggle multiple duties
- Detail oriented
- Ability to resolve conflicts with staff and customers
- Computer proficiency including Word, Excel, and ability to learn other programs quickly
- Must pass a criminal background check and FBI check
- Physical abilities- Must be able to bend, stoop, stand, and lift-up to 25-40 lbs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 30-45K
Must be able to obtain clearances in order to work with young children in Pennsylvania as well as possess a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a human service field.
