Responsibilities for Toddler Teacher
- Provide a safe and loving environment for the toddlers in his/her care (total of 6 toddlers under age 2)
- Give meals according to USDA meal plan menus provided by center
- Change diapers as needed
- Lift at least 35 lbs
- Must be able to bend down, sit on floor, squat down with knees
- Coordinate curriculum plans with team mates
- Supervise toddlers on the floor as they play with age-appropriate toys
- Put toddlers to nap one time per day
- Ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean and up to DCF standard
Qualifications for Toddler Teacher DCF 40 hours
- At least 2 years experience
- CPR and First aid training- preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to work a shift in between 8 AM to 5 PM or any time in between
- Great customer service skills to communicate effectively with parents
- Good sense of developmental milestones and assessment of toddlers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.75 per hour
