Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in our daycare facility. You will play a crucial role in their development by implementing age-appropriate activities and educational programs.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans and activities that promote the physical, social, and cognitive development of children
- Provide a safe and secure environment for children, ensuring their well-being at all times
- Supervise and monitor children during indoor and outdoor activities
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their emotional growth and self-esteem
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and appropriate discipline strategies
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
Experience:
- Six Months experience in infant care, daycare, or early childhood education is required
- Knowledge of first aid procedures for children is highly desirable
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to educate and engage young children through creative teaching methods
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
