What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3 yr old teacher position at Little Eagles Child Development Center?
Hours: M-F 7:00-4:00pm
Responsibilities:
-Be willing to use behavior strategies for children to be successful in the classroom
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with our Frog Street curriculum.
- Provide a nurturing and supportive learning environment for students
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a comprehensive educational experience
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles
- Foster a positive classroom culture that promotes respect, inclusivity, and academic growth
- Monitor student behavior and enforce classroom rules and procedures
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and concerns
Skills:
- Experience working with children ages 3-4yrs old
- Knowledge of how to create a lesson plan and follow a curriculum
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with parents, co-workers, and administrators
- Understanding of child welfare and the importance of creating a safe and inclusive environment
- Proficient in creating engaging educational materials for children
- Familiarity with childcare regulations and best practices for early childhood education
