Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leading a wonderful preaschool team and educating young children and fostering their growth and development.
Duties:
- Plan age-appropriate curriculum to meet the emotional, physical, intellectual, and social needs of children following state guidelines.
-Know and follow all licensing requirements for Minimum licensing and Better Beginnings.
- Create a safe and nurturing learning environment for children.
- Ensure weekly curriculum is being implemented.
- Monitor and assess staff and student progress.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members.
-Manage all day-to-day operations of the facility.
Experience:
- Must meet one of the following: 1. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field from an accredited college/university combined with a year of experience. 2. Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development plus 6 years experience. 3. Eight years of experience in Early Childhood Education and completion of one of the following: CDA Credential, Birth to Pre-k Credential, Director's Credential, or Technical Certificate in Early Childhood Education.
- Previous experience working with young children, managing staff and asissiting the director with all the day to day operations.
- Strong leadership skills .
- Knowledge of education administration principles.
- Ability to educate children using various teaching methods.
- Proficiency in strategic planning to enhance learning outcomes.
- Experience with budgeting for educational resources.
