*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing and engaging classroom environment for children. This role involves assisting with daily activities, promoting literacy education, and implementing curriculum development tailored to the needs of toddlers and preschoolers. The Assistant Teacher will play a crucial role in fostering positive behavior management and effective communication with both students and parents. *Duties* - Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities. - Provide care and supervision for toddlers and preschool-aged children in a daycare or preschool setting. - Support literacy education initiatives by engaging children in reading activities and promoting language development. - Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive social interactions among children. - Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. - Participate in curriculum development by contributing ideas and resources that enhance the educational experience. - Foster an inclusive atmosphere that respects the diverse backgrounds of all students. *Skills* - Strong understanding of childcare principles, including toddler care and preschool education. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff. - Ability to manage classroom behavior positively while promoting a supportive learning environment. - Knowledge of literacy education techniques to encourage reading and language skills among young learners. - Experience in daycare or childcare settings is preferred but not mandatory. - Creative problem-solving skills to adapt lesson plans based on children's needs and interests. - Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with lead teachers and other staff members.
