What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Teacher position at Little Explorers Learning Center?
Little Explorers Learning Center is interested in hiring professionals who are in the childcare industry that are looking to broaden their skill sets and gain valuable experiences to help enhance their careers in the Early Childhood industry.
We are currently looking for experience childcare professionals in the Naples, FL area.
- Early Childhood Lead Educator for our three-year-old room. You must be able to work from 8:30-5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Early Childhood Assistant Educator for our fours and fives room (VPK). You must be able to work from 8:30-5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

- CDA or equivalent (required)
- Certified to teach (FL) VPK
- Able to communicate and write in English.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications) but not required
- 45 hours of the Department of Children and Families courses completed, must be completed within 90 days from start date.
- Level II Background Screening Clearance
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Associate/bachelor’s degree in early childhood education
Responsibilities
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for young children.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to promote a positive learning atmosphere.
- Foster children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging interactions.
- Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on children's progress and well-being.
- Stay current on best practices in early childhood education to enhance teaching strategies.
- Maintaining your classroom clean and organize throughout the day.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
