Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students in grades K-5. This role involves educating young minds, fostering their growth, and helping them develop essential skills in various subjects, including Math. The teacher will also support students with special needs and implement effective behavior management strategies.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Educate students in core subjects, focusing on Math and other foundational skills.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support through tutoring and mentoring for students requiring additional assistance.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and development.
- Collaborate with special education staff to support students with diverse needs.
