What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Assistant position at Little Falls Health Services?
Service Responsibilities:
Adheres to, supports and promotes St. Francis Health Services’ Mission and Core Values,
philosophy, goals and objectives.
Perform personal care activities, including but not limited to:
o Bathing- full or partial. May include tub bath or shower.
o Shampoo/hair care
o Skin care/nail care, including foot soaks
o Oral hygiene/denture care
o Shaving
o Dressing
o Toileting/elimination
Assist residents with ambulation, transfers and exercises as ordered.
Perform household services essential to health care at home, including, but not limited
to:
o Meal planning, preparation/feeding
o Laundry
o Light general housekeeping
Administer medications and treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed
nurse.
Feed residents who, because of their condition, are unable or are at risk for choking.
Report changes in the resident’s condition and needs to the licensed nurse.
Complete the appropriate records to document cares given and pertinent observations.
Respond to resident requests promptly.
Maintain resident confidentiality; treat residents and family with respect.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
