Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Little Falls Hospital. As a key member of our laboratory department, you will be responsible for performing clinical laboratory procedures, examinations, and tests to support patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and verify laboratory tests and/or prepare products for transfusion on acceptable specimens to obtain accurate data in accordance with established procedures and protocols.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, reagents, and supplies and documentation required in performance of job responsibilities.
- Follow all institution and department policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in accordance with New York State Department of Health regulations.
- Minimum 1 year experience in standard laboratory methodologies required.
- Licensure by NYS SED as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist required, or licensure-eligible with a limited permit or limited license as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
