Job Summary
We are seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (Medical Technologist) to perform clinical laboratory procedures, examinations, and tests in support of patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and verify laboratory tests on acceptable specimens to obtain accurate data.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, reagents, and supplies.
- Follow all institution and department policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Direct, review, and/or verify work of other clinical laboratory personnel, students, and/or nursing staff.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist by NYS SED required.
- Minimum 1 year experience in standard laboratory methodologies required.
