Little Flock Christian School (LFCS), a thriving private Christian school in the heart of Fairfax, VA, is seeking to fill a full-time position of Director for the 2025-2026 school year. We provide early childhood education to children 2 years old through 2nd grade within a Christ centered environment. Currently the school has more than 100 students and over 20 staff members.

Job Description:

· Manage the overall educational philosophy and curriculum in accordance with the Little Flock Christian school mission, state licensing standards, and Association of Christian Schools International.

· Update curriculum as necessary to ensure that it promotes the highest standards of developmentally appropriate academic excellence and integrates Christian values.

· Conduct regular staff meetings promoting active participation and Christian devotionals

· Ensure that accurate records for admissions and staff are maintained.

· Prepare annual budget and manage budget throughout the year

· Oversee the application, touring, admission, and registration processes

· Meet with prospective parents and maintain a marketing program to promote the school within the local community.

· Report to the School Board to implement the vision and mission of the school and help set efficient strategies to make it thrive and grow

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and/or Early Childhood Education – (Master’s preferred.)

· Minimum of 3 years of Director experience in a field of early childhood or elementary education

· Desire to work in a Christian faith-based environment

· ASCI Certified or willing to work towards certification

· Team player and people-oriented individual with excellent communication
