What are the responsibilities and job description for the Searching for a Nursery and Preschool Teacher position at Little Flock Nursery and Preschool?
Assist all co-teachers in our two (soon to be three) classrooms at our faith-based nursery and pre-school. Children's ages are 3 months to 5 years old. You would be floating and overall assisting in classrooms as needed.
Provide loving, attentive care to infants and toddlers, supporting their physical, emotional, and developmental needs
Assist in daily routines including feeding, diapering/toileting, napping, and transitions
Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based activities and lesson plans as needed that promote social, cognitive, and motor skills
Create a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment
Collaborate with co-teachers to ensure each child's needs are met
Maintain positive communication with parents about their child’s day, milestones, and development
Ensure compliance with Vermont state regulations for licensed childcare programs
