Assistant Toddler Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting a love for learning.

Duties

• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Observe and assess children's development, behavior, and progress, providing feedback to lead teacher
• Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging social skills and emotional growth.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that meets health and safety regulations.

Skills

• Experience working with children
• Knowledge of toddler care and infant care practices is highly desirable.
• Strong caregiving skills with an emphasis on nurturing young children.
• Familiarity with early childhood education
• Proficient in behavior management techniques to support children's development.
• Experience in childcare settings, particularly with children who have disabilities, is a plus.
• Certification in First Aid is preferred but will facilitate the class.
