- Annual growth of the Nantucket Hotel event revenues by upselling catering packages and wedding add-ons.
- Staying active within the island communities to maintain a presence at meetings, planning events, and committees.
- Conduct site visits for booked and prospective events.
- Prompt communication with clients from turnover leading up to the event.
- Maintain proper documentation of all aspects of events including special requests and financial details.
- Monitor all events to ensure group expectations are met and resolve any unexpected challenges that may arise.
- Conduct tastings for qualifying events, working alongside the Chef and F&B Manager.
- Develop menu, floorplan, and timeline for all booked events.
- Timely execution of BEOs and group resumes for all booked events.
- Work closely with the food and beverage team for day-of coordination with clients, outside vendors, and all department heads to ensure all details of BEO are executed.
- Follow up with all clients post-event.
- Ring in all events and work with accounting and the DOSE to reconcile all events.
- Assist food and beverage team with all in-house events.
- Act as onsite representative for marketing initiatives.
